Before I found my love for scenic design, I started my academic career as a studio artist. I often found myself gravitating towards sculpture and installation art, but I was never quite satisfied with working alone in a studio. Eventually, I added theatre as a second major and discovered that the storytelling and the collaborative nature of scenic design blended all of my interests perfectly.
I am currently an MFA candidate studying scenic design at the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama. In 2019 I graduated with BAs in theatre and studio art from the University of Kentucky's College of Fine Arts and Lewis Honors College.
